CinemARC: The Rugged Island

Continuing a partnership with HippFest, Scotland’s Silent Film Festival, the ARC played host to The Rugged Island: A Shetland Lyric. Part of the ARC’s CinemARC programme, the screening of this beautiful film by Jenny Gilbertson, made in 1933, was accompanied by a live scored, composed by Inge Thomson, and accompanied by Catriona Macdonald.
